How much will I actually make?
It depends entirely on how much your AI assistant actually works — you earn per ad shown during real wait-states. A heavy Claude Code user sees far more ads than a light one. The split is 70% of the ad revenue attributable to your impressions: at a $2.00/1k market price that's $1.40 per 1,000 impressions (~83 minutes of agent thinking time). It's not a guaranteed monthly figure — it scales with real usage and market bids.
How do I earn — what do I have to do?
Nothing after npx adspay init. While your agent is thinking, a sponsored line rides the status line; every 5 seconds of genuine visibility is one impression credited to your ledger. There is nothing to click or refresh — in fact, clicking your own ads is against the rules (see fraud ground rules below).
When can I cash out?
Earnings sit in a 24-hour anti-fraud hold, then become payable. You can cash out any amount from $1, any time, straight to your Solana wallet in USDC — payouts are typically confirmed on-chain in seconds. Hourly auto-payout sends payable balances of $1+ automatically once your wallet is set.
What data do you collect?
The client reports impression batches: campaign ID, a count, two timestamps and a sequence number — signed with your device key. That's the whole payload. Your prompts, code, files and responses are never read; the message format has no field that could carry them.
How do I uninstall?
Remove the statusLine entry from ~/.claude/settings.json (your previous status line command is stored in ~/.adspay/config.json under previousCommand if you want to restore it), and delete ~/.adspay. For the extension, uninstall it from VS Code. Your accrued balance stays payable — uninstalling doesn't forfeit earnings.
Fraud ground rules — what gets a device flagged?
We pay per impression, so we defend the pool that pays everyone. Automatic caps: max 720 impressions/hour (physics: 1 per 5s), max $5/day per device while your account is new, max 5 billed clicks per campaign per day, and at most 5 new devices per IP per day. Never do this: fake or replayed impression batches (signatures and sequence numbers make these detectable), clicking your own ads, headless farms. Flagged devices keep accruing but can't cash out until a human reviews them; confirmed fraud forfeits the held balance. Everything legitimate stays untouched — the hold is 24h, not weeks.
For advertisers: what's allowed?
One line, max 60 characters, always clearly an ad. Every campaign is screened by a human before it serves — scams, phishing, malware, adult content and misleading claims are rejected with a full refund. Your links must go where they say they go.
Why crypto payouts?
Because it's the only rail that lets us pay a developer in Argentina, India or Germany the same minute they earn a dollar, with near-zero fees. USDC is a fully-reserved dollar stablecoin; if you've never used Solana, any wallet (Phantom, Solflare) gives you an address in 2 minutes.
